design began at the outbreak of WW 2 on a jet fighter and the resulting meteor was the only allied jet to enter service before the end of the war.  the meteor continued to be produced post war and was modified in several variants to have a long career in the RAf and other nations.  photos and illustrations.  hardbound with d/j.  d/j has minor  loss top front.  otherwise in excellent condition.

a monograpgh of the elegant looking tiger full of photos, diagrams and profiles of markings.  designed as a lightweight fighter it was the smallest airframe that could be designed around the engine.  consequently it couldn't be upgraded significantly and was only in service for a few years.  it was also the aircraft used by the "blue Angels" demonsration team. photos and illustrations.  card covers.  excellent condition.

An annual magazine published to promote the raf's "Red Arrows"  aerobatic team.  This is the 1985 version and has background stories on the team, the aircraft and formations flown, the schedule for the year, team members, etc.  the snowbirds get a page as well.  Photos and diagrams.  card covers.  slight scuff on spine, otherwise in very good condition.

The first book to fully document the formation and history of the RCAF.  Initially operating with second hand or converted civilian aircraft it came into prominence in WW2 growing into the 4th largest Allied air force. Reduced to near extinction post war, it grew again with events in Korea and Europe playing a key role in NATO.  A comprehensive book. Photos, illustrations and colour profiles.  Signed by author.  Hardbound with d/j. Spine of d/j and book have small rubs on the bottom.  Very good condition.
